Anyway, here are some pictures that I'd like to share in honor of our anniversary. The first picture below is of one of my favorite wedding pictures taken - it is my hubby and I kneeling at the altar ahead with a view from 1/2 of the aisle. The second photo is of the anniversary peonies that my hubby picked up from Trader Joe's for me as a morning suprise. I put it in a simple Fleur de Lis pitcher that I purchased not long after we closed escrow on our home. I LOVE peonies! In fact, I had some peonies incorporated into my wedding bouquet on my wedding day. And lastly, the 3rd picture is of the tasty, Strawberry Martini that I had at Cheesecake Factory on our anniversary date. Did you know that they use 8 fresh strawberries to make this custom martini? It's quite good if you haven't already tried it from there. :) By the way, sorry for the fuzzy pics. I still can't find my camera {still lost amongst our boxes}, so for now I've been taking pics with my phone camera, which is of really low quality! Hopefully I'll find my camera soon!

June 25th Anniversary, Pink Peonies & a Strawberry Martini!
So last Saturday, June 25th marked our 6th year wedding anniversary {although we've been together for nearly 16 years since our Bruin college days}! We've been so busy fixing up our house to make it "livable," that I told my hubby that I really wanted to keep our anniversary simple {you know the jeans, sneakers & t-shirt variety}. So he canceled the reservations to the swanky restaurant, and instead we opted for dinner & a movie {did I mention we saw Jamie Foxx hanging out that night?!?!}. We ended up eating at Cheesecake Factory {one of our favorite restaurants} and watching "Super 8." Thanks to grandma & grandpa by the way, for the babysitting on our rare night out sans kiddos! :)
