A little sunshine on a cloudy day!

It rained a bit over here in SoCali over the weekend. And so, I was craving a little sunshine on a cloudy day. :) Here's a collage of photos from a previous post I did last summer on my homemade thyme lemonade. Hopefully it will bring some thoughts of sunny days, especially to those of you who are knee deep in snow. :)

Since I've been sick on & off for the last month or so, my husband persuaded me to rest & stay in bed this weekend, so that I could finally rid myself of this little flu bug that I've been trying to permanently kick for good. And as much as I hated having to temporarily take a break from our projects, I knew a little recuperation was much needed {thank you honey!}. :)

On a another note, thought I'd share this photo of my sweet boys. My youngest one really looks up to his older brother and he insisted that I take this photo of him with his arm around his big bro. Now this darling gesture is enough to keep me smiling for the rest of the winter! :)

Well I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Until next time, enjoy your new week!

XO's,
Jessie

Very cute boys. I love how the younger one has his arm around the older one.
Your lemonade does look so summery and yummy! I'm starting to dream of spring....just a little. I'm not ready to be digging in the dirt just yet.

Jessie,
Sorry to hear you are still not 100 percent well. I'm sure the stress of a construction project isn't helping.

You're lucky to have such a considerate husband along with two adorable boys.

Think Spring!
