Hello & Happy Sunday dear friends! :) I'm sure you are probably a little tired of me posting images of blooms whilst using that same framed background as a backdrop to my pictures! But we are in the middle of repainting the interior {little by little as time allows}, so that is just one of the {very few} places in our home right now, that looks decent! So I thank you all in advance for being "patient" with me! :)
I actually made that "shabby frame" in the background using leftover moulding and distressing it a bit with sandpaper. I was supposed to post about that little project months ago, but it seems like time is always fleeting and I never have enough of it these days! :)
It also seems like the spring season is upon us with the very warm weather we have been having here in Southern California. Is it just me, or has the winter been rather "mild" throughout the country? I could be totally wrong, and it just may be snowing on the East Coast! :)
Anyway, these pretty pink blooms were purchased to help remind me that there is a "light at the end of the tunnel" when it comes to our fixer upper challenges! Because right now our home is nothing short of a "war zone" with things still in
Just an f.y.i that the "Dollar Tree" vase above is plastic. When you have some very active boys in the house like I do, then some things just have to be cheap & replaceable! :)
I know you all have been waiting to see who the Giveaway Winner is! Now I wish I could give everyone something, but there can only be one winner!
So without further ado, the winner of my Vintage Inspired Valentine's Day Giveaway via Random.org is....
#119 which is Cheryl of Fresh Vanilla For C!!!
Congrats Cheryl!!! Please contact me with your mailing info at: acozycottageinthecity@gmail.com so that I can send you your Vintage Goodies! :)
THANK YOU so much to everyone {current & new blogger friends} who participated! :) I love meeting new people and look forward to getting to know you all a bit more!
I also have some news to share regarding a new venture I am currently embarking on...well, it's more of a "venture revisited!" I wasn't sure if I wanted to share some of my personal journeys out here in blog land, but it is a HUGE part of who I am, and rather affects my blogging a bit. So, I didn't think it would be fair NOT to share some of it with my dear readers...so hopefully I will be posting a little more about it in the near future. So stay tuned for some news & THANK YOU once again for all of your friendships - they are ALL so greatly appreciated!
Hugs,
Jessie
P.S. This "venture revisited" will take quite a bit of my time these days {more on why later}, so if it takes a while to respond or visit your blogs - please know that it's not intentional! :) I hope you can bear with me as I continue to try & sort out all of my "time management" {more challenging than I thought}. :) ♥Jessie
