What I love most about the bathroom is the white wainscoting. Perfectly classic for my cottage country style. The peeling, floral wallpaper however...not so much. After painstakingly removing it {not an easy task, mind you}, it took forever for me to choose a paint color that wouldn't clash with the white shower tiles and the dark blue tile flooring. Luckily, after enough paint sampling, I was able to find the perfect color for this bathroom. I think it's absolutely perfect. The paint color in that bathroom is one of my favorites in the house. But I will have to save the actual color and details for when I reveal the complete bathroom redo (in terms of accessorizing it - not gutting it or anything). It's really wonderful what a small can of paint and some accessories can do when you're on a tight budget.
Anyway, back to my shower curtain dilemma. These are the two beautiful shower curtains that I am debating between:
At first I thought the only possible color that would go with this bathroom would be a "solid white." Then after thinking about it for a moment, I thought maybe, just maybe the "Toile" shower curtain may work in this bathroom. On a side note, the paint color I chose is just an 'air of color' in around the same shade as the pattern of the toile {possibly lighter, though}. But I suppose I won't know if it will go with the bathroom entirely unless I order both and then return the one that goes with it the least. Or, possibly both shower curtains may look absolutely divine, and then I guess I'll just have to make a final decision between the two.
Well, those are currently the two shower curtains that I'm totally digging. One of them is on sale right now, and stock is possibly limited, and so is my budget - so buying this piece will have to wait until the end of this month.
So which one shall it be? Romantic Ruffled Edges or Vintage Toile???

I think you should go with the ruffled one because it'll always match no matter what you do in the future.Good luck with whatever one you pick. :)
Thanks anon! :)
I actually like the toile better, though just my opinion. :-)
